Nox was first introduced to Drum & Bass in the early 2000's, but it wasn't until late in 2021 when he became inspired to DJ. In short order, he's developed a reputation for his deliberate style of mixing, blends, deep selections and nonstop energy. He is known to keep listeners on their toes, using a foundation in Neurofunk to bleed into other sub-genres such as Dancefloor, Jump Up and Liquid. Inspired by the creativity of DJ's such as Andy C and the unrelenting sounds of Audio & Burr Oak along with labels such as Eatbrain & Blackout, he possesses a style that combines a deep knowledge of his music with an inability to play by the rules. The juxtaposition between the way he presents himself and his musical selection has drawn the attention of many, a representation that art is not confined to appearance and assumptions must always be shattered. Nox is a Resident DJ for BrainRave Music, one of the premiere Neurofunk labels in the world. He's fully prepared to show crowds exactly what the label and himself represent: quality, individuality, and dancefloor damage. When not performing, Nox is a proud advocate of US Drum & Bass, working as a conduit to help artists release music with a variety of labels across a variety of styles. He openly pushes to break down barriers, believing the collective culture is healthier with broad representation and an equal opportunity for all.
