Drum and Bass Proper & DnBRadio Present Community DnB

🎧 New Drum & Bass Community Night in Denver 🎧

Drum and Bass Proper and DnBRadio have teamed up to create a brand-new weekly Drum & Bass night at Milk Bar Denver, built specifically to give new DJs and underrepresented DJs a real opportunity to rock a proper dance floor.

This is a true Drum & Bass event, played on a full VOID Sound System, with four (4) CDJ-3000s and a Pioneer DJM-900NXS2 mixer. No shortcuts — this is the real deal. 🔊 Want to play?

If you’re interested in playing, please fill out the sign-up form and submit a link to a DnB mix that’s no more than 30 days old.

All mixes will be reviewed for basic quality standards:

  • Clean transitions (no trainwrecks)
  • Proper mixing technique
  • Balanced levels

If your mix passes, you’ll be added to the calendar and notified for an upcoming night.
If it doesn’t quite hit the mark yet, we’ll provide constructive feedback so you know exactly what to work on — and you’ll still be encouraged to resubmit once you’re ready. The goal is growth, not gatekeeping. 🖤 Community first

Denver has a deep DJ pool, and this night is about building real community. We welcome ALL styles of Drum and Bass — liquid, jungle, rollers, neuro, jump-up, experimental, and beyond.

When you come out to the shows, please take a moment to say hello to Scottie (GHoST). Showing up, supporting each other, and connecting is a big part of what this night is about. 📅 Event details

  • Every Thursday starting January 15 2026
  • 10:00 PM – 2:00 AM
  • Four (4) one-hour DJ slots per night
  • Paid gig: $50
  • +1 guest at the door
  • $5 cover for everyone else

We’ll do our best to give everyone a chance, but please be patient — with a weekly format and limited slots, it may take some time to get everyone booked. The flyer and socisl media event pages will be release every Friday for the following week, you are expected to share and engage with the original posts we put out. 🎚 Need practice on pro gear?

If you want hands-on time with CDJ-3000s and a DJM-900NXS2 before playing out, we highly recommend Mile High DJ Supply, where you can rent studio time on professional equipment for a fixed price. 📬 Questions?
