Antares – Late Nights EP (Wicked Jungle Records)
With Late Nights, Antares steps into deeper, more emotional territory than usual. Known for his razor-sharp production and darker edge, he turns inward here, building four tracks that feel intimate, reflective, and cinematic.
The title track sets the tone with moody pads and restrained percussion, while Irrespective Emotion layers delicate melodies over rolling drums. Our Theme brings warmth and movement, and Snows of IO closes the set with a lush, spacey drift that lingers long after the last note.
Rather than chase club energy, Late Nights explores the quiet side of jungle where late-hour introspection meets crisp breakwork. It is mature, beautifully mixed, and honest in mood.
Verdict: A soulful, late-night listen from an artist proving that drum and bass can still tell stories.
