Tune Review: C4C - Bedhead (Quadrant & Iris Remix) out on C4C Recordings

The power couple, Quadrant & Iris, are at it again with this C4C remix of Bedhead out on C4C Recordings TODAY 10/3!  Let me start by saying that this isn’t a 3-minute track! They took us on a journey here for over 6 minutes!

The track kicks off with rolling drums, and then, after a few bars, they introduce some low-end sounds with the kick drum. This layout is going to be really nice to play with while mixing. They play with some filters that lead to this drop that just hits like a Quadrant & Iris track, deep nasty bass! I have to hear this on a proper sound system cause they went DEEP with this bass!

This bassline has this nice little “bong” to it at the end that gives it some nice additional flavor. Those drums and high hats roll right along with this deep sweeping bassline. Throughout the first half, they introduce different melodies, samples, and hidden voices that sneak up on you out of the bassline. Very, very well done on how they brought in all these sounds and merged them.

This track flows so nicely that it comes into this bridge that changes the mood.  That 2nd drop is different then the first with those different samples and mid/high range sounds that mix with that deep nasty bassline so well. It rolls so nicely into that 2nd drop! You have to give this badboy a listen!  This track is 100% something you mix in and out of on a 3-deck set and can be played end to end due to how it is laid out and all the changes Quadrant & Iris take us through.
