DialectAudio presents, Rhizome - [Acid Pop EP]

When I first listened to these tunes the first thing they reminded me of were of Stakka and Skynets “Clockwork” album or that of early Infiltrata songs. Short repetition of clean drum hits that slap perfectly with the focus on progressive movement towards crescendos of technical and dark atmospheres that you can ride from start to completion, making them super friendly track for any DJ or listener into techy and minimal sounding Drum & Bass.

Acid Pop comes through as more of a Techstep roller until it reaches the breakdown, and then when it drops there is a reminder of the hardcore element that established the sound we all know and love today with modern progression and lead synths that are very cleverly placed, just at the right moment and time to keep the track alive.

System Error hits hard and heavy with the emphasis on the darker side of Drum & Bass. Loud clangs of snare drums mixed with arpeggios of synths that make you want to keep the vibe resonating. This track isn’t to be slept on as it would be the perfect selection for a perfect moment to get an already attentive crowd more interested in what’s to come.
