On March 14, the World of Drum & Bass Tour returns to the nation's capitol once again.

Having built the reputation as the preeminent stop for one of the premiere tours in the United States, 3D Productions have yet again put together a stacked lineup appealing to a wide range of listeners. Dubbed 'the Massive', it's quite easy to see how it gets its name. 3D have taken WoDNB to an even greater level by not only featuring the hosted talent of the tour but bringing in top shelf headliners to make their tour stops stand out.

And boy, did they add some big ones!

Icons. Legends. If there were a Mount Rushmore of US DNB, PotD would be on it. Each of these individuals pioneered Drum and Bass in the emergence of a US scene. They were at the tip of the spear, without question: production, DJ skill, MCing and even event experience. The formation of the supergroup moved drum and bass out of the dingy side room with the sound system equivalent of an 80's boombox and onto the main stage, letting the sound really shine and earn the respect it deserved.

If you are a US based DNB artist, DJ, or MC, PotD is at least partially responsible for you being able to do what you do. Dieselboy's 'The 6ixth Session' is a mix CD that still rests at the top of the pile for many old school ravers (and is on my shelf as we speak). Dara's Breakbeat Science mix CD is still rated to this day. On a personal level, AK1200's remix of Cleveland Lounge's 'Drowning' is the first prominent track I remember hearing at a rave in the early 2000's. That singular track pulled me into an obsession that dominates my entire being more than 25 years later, a similar story you'll hear from many.

Feed Me | Sotto Voce

The Techstep Architect touches down for the DC stop. After having emerged with 'Outbroken (That Track)' on Renegade Hardware and 'Three Ravens' on Barcode Recordings, Spor then founded Lifted Music. An absolute titan in Neurofunk, Spor is known for his dark, experimental style while pushing the bounds of sound design. He now runs Sotto Voce, a new platform for emerging artists, as well as maintaining the Dubstep and House alias 'Feed Me'.

Viper Recordings

Viper Recordings need no introduction, and the two artists driving the ship don't either. Absolute dons of the Dancefloor world, they've set the standard for decades. With charting hits like 'All I Know' and 'Magnetic Eyes', and support form the likes of Annie Mac and Pete Tong, their critical praise is undeniable. Their recent remix of 'One Time We Lived' from Moby speaks to their acclaim. Expect a proper Dancefloor workout!

One of the UK’s most established and internationally respected drum & bass artists, Danny Byrd brings over two decades of experience delivering high-energy, crowd-focused sets across clubs, festivals, and large-scale events worldwide. His sound bridges classic drum & bass foundations with modern production, making him a proven and reliable headliner.

Bladerunner

Pure Jungle | Hi-Resolution

A member of the legendary Kings of the Rollers, Bladerunner has a longstanding reputation of being at the top of the game. Known for his precision on the decks and the crowd engagement driven from it, I'd imagine this will be quite the fun one! Check out his recent Shogun Sessions for a sample of what he offers as well as his culture forward clothing brand, Pure Jungle.

Rampage

Big one touching down! The bossman of Rampage, the largest Drum & Bass and Dubstep festival in the world, finds his way to DC. Rampage is a name that is synonymous with DnB in the festival world, welcoming tends of thousands of attendees each year, and even having their own record label. His range as a producer is equally as broad as his festival, with everything from Neuro to Dancefloor to Liquid under his belt. I'd expect a thorough beatdown from this! And hey, if this goes well, maybe we get that long rumored Rampage US experience, so let him and promoters in your area know!

Fresh off an incredible performance in Asheville, NC, expect nothing less than your jaw to be on the floor.
