Show Preview: Summer Bells, Aug 16 Atlanta, Georgia - Featuring Delta Heavy, Vibe Chemistry & Eclipsed Shadows
Jungle Bells needs no introduction. It's a name that is synonymous with Drum and Bass in the US, with a longstanding history of bringing the best and brightest talent from around the world to Atlanta, Georgia. This year, MJ Lee and Brandon Couturier, the duo behind the iconic show, decided to level things up a notch with an entire series of shows throughout the year which will culminate at Jungle Bells this December.

What we do is we bring some of the biggest artists on Earth into small intimate venues. There's no where else on Earth you can see the likes of Delta Heavy and Vibe Chemistry under the same roof in a 500 person capacity room. It always makes for a really special event when you are right on top of the acts instead of watching them from half a mile away at a Festival. - MJ Lee
Thus far, the shows have featured some of the biggest names you'll find:
Turno, T & Sugah, Justin Hawkes, Platez, Demotank and Rowdy Rancher.
Ed Rush & Optical, Matrix & Futurebound, Siren, Danny the Wildchild, DJ Wednesday and Uproot The Fiasco.
And that trend will continue for the next iteration in the summer series, featuring Delta Heavy, Vibe Chemistry and Eclipsed Shadows with support from Wet Paint, Kinfok and Platez.
Taking place on August 16 in Atlanta, Georgia, it's worth mentioning that the venue for this event has now changed due to some unforeseen circumstances. This event will now take place in Wish Lounge at Believe Music Hall. All previously bought tickets will be valid the night of the show, so no need to stress! If you've yet to pick up a ticket, A) what are you waiting for? and B) you can do so here!
Delta Heavy - UK

The longtime heavyweights make their way to Atlanta to headline the show. I'm not sure what more can be said that hasn't been. They are absolute titans of Dancefloor and have toured the world demonstrating just that. With releases on the likes of RAM Records, UKF, their own imprint Delta Heavy, and on Bad Taste courtesy of their remix of the iconic Dogs On The Moon, it's a track record of being at the top of the game. While their catalog is insanely deep, I have to call attention to their collab with Hayley May 'Get Down Tonight'. It's a naughty number in the mix and one of my favorite Dancefloor tunes to drop. And since I can't choose just one, I'm gonna go with a bit of a curveball and choose Event Horizon, released in 2016 on the mighty RAM. I can almost guarantee this set will be thoroughly ridiculous.

Vibe Chemistry - UK

The Make Your Era bossman returns after an incredible set at last winter's Jungle Bells. The release of 'Balling' in 2021 on DnB Allstars loudly proclaimed Vibe Chemistry as a name that needed to be noticed. I firmly believe he makes some of the most quintessential summer tunes in the genre, dancefloor packers that, unironically, set a vibe. He's fresh off the release of his LP 'Dopamine', where he showcases his production chops by dipping into UKG, Breaks and Grime as well. While 'Balling' will always hold a very special place in my heart and is associated with so many great memories, I'd like to put some attention on a few other personal favs. 'Loca' is a tune that 100% rides that same vibe, the type of tune you put on in the car on your way to the beach. 'Pressure', off his latest release, hits all the right Dancefloor notes: a catchy vocal with an undeniable bounce.

Full Disclosure: I'm biased. I really enjoy playing at Jungle Bells events because that crowd, that energy... it's the best. Not since the golden era of Winter Music Conference in Miami has there been such a prolific series of events stateside. Period. They set the bar really high. Smash it, then set it even higher again. I can't wait to connect with all the crew and family at Summer Bells on August 16. - Electron-C
What a year it's been for the boys from Charlotte. Fresh off a chart topping release on Beatport (you can read my review here) and a feature by Ayah Marar on Rinse.fm, they return to the stage in Atlanta to bring some havoc. Having played last year's Opening Ceremony at Jungle Bells and recently at Torch, they're no strangers to the city. They'll once again bring their energy for a 'can't miss' set. And that aforementioned feature? Check the link below as they join forces with Noisesmith for a banger of a tune.
