Track Review: Vilen – Sentinel
“Sentinel” by Vilen hits hard with that classic techstep feel. The drums are sharp and clean, giving the track a steady drive without feeling too busy. There’s real groove in the percussion, and it holds your attention the whole way through. The bassline rolls deep with a pulsing rhythm that brings both energy and darkness. It feels heavy but smooth, creating a solid foundation for the rest of the tune. You can hear the old-school influence, but the production is crisp and modern. Vilen blends the past and present in a way that feels effortless. Everything sounds polished and intentional. “Sentinel” is dark, focused and built for the heads.
Vilen is clearly a talented producer who knows his sound. This one’s a serious tune.
