This just in, BBC Radio 1 and Grammy-acclaimed Drum & Bass duo Koven has just released their latest single; an exceptional, emotionally charged track with immense depth and weight. Introducing “sHow me heAVEn”, out now exclusively on UKF.
“sHow me heAVEn” was recorded at London’s Metropolis Studios combining the minds and talents of Koven alongside the powerful vocals of Katie Boyle backed by Choir Noir & Parallax Orchestra, featuring a rather lovely live string arrangement by Simon Dobson. An incredibly complex composition, this is a tune that perfectly lands the medium between high energy dancefloor flavors and soulful vibes with cinematic textures.
“sHow me heAVEn” follows four previously released, heavy hitting singles: “bloOdliNEs”, “hEarTbeAt”, “wHERE the rhythm goes”, and “juST to breAThE”, in which “wHERE the rhythm goes” was chosen for an Amazon Prime UEFA Champions League project.
Having a sound that notoriously overcomes the boundaries in the genre, Koven have rightfully procured an international following throughout the span of their career receiving about a whopping 645 million catalogue streams. Their most previous album campaign earned over 25 million streams, more than 40 BBC Radio 1 plays, a BBC Radio 1 Essentials Mix, and a BBC Radio 1 Hottest Record. The duo have also gained support from Capital Dance, Kiss, Insomniac Radio, and other leading Drum & Bass platforms, while playing major international festivals such as Glastonbury & Tomorrowland and recently headlining UKF’s highly anticipated return to London’s Fabric after 15 years.
